Overview

LidarAC ("the App") is designed to provide local focus and distance tools across two iPhones (TX and RX), including LiDAR-based distance visualization and optional integration with Tilta Nucleus devices.

1. Data We Collect

We do not require account creation and we do not collect personal data for cloud processing. The App primarily operates locally between your devices.

2. Permissions Used

  • Camera: Used on TX mode for live image and tracking workflows.
  • Local Network: Used for direct communication between TX and RX devices.
  • Bluetooth: Optional, only for connecting supported external focus hardware.

3. How Data Is Used

  • Video, LiDAR, and control data are used to provide app features in real time.
  • Communication is intended for local device-to-device operation.
  • Data is not sold to third parties.

4. Data Storage

The App may store user configuration data locally on the device, such as selected profiles and settings. This data remains on your device unless you explicitly export it.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share personal data with third parties. If you use external hardware integrations, only connection- and control-relevant data is used for that function.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect local app data. However, no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed 100% secure.

8. Your Choices

  • You can deny app permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
  • You can delete locally stored app data by uninstalling the App.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by revising the "Last updated" date above.
